From image reference to 3D printed object
A small making note about turning visual references into models, slicer settings, test prints, and physical results.
3D printing turns a visual idea into a physical constraint. A shape that looks simple in an image may need thickness, support, split parts, and a realistic print orientation.
I want the 3D printing archive to keep not only finished photos, but also parameters and failures: where a print lifted, where support was hard to remove, and what I would change next time.
